Forgotten Legends

Dear Sarnaut!

Nearly every class will undergo modifications in the 5.0.02 Update - "Forgotten Legends", with the Scout and Engineer facing the most profound changes of all.

The future of your favourite class is one of the most important issues for any player, regardless of level, faction, and game experience. Our goal is to find a fair place for every class in both PvP and PvE activities, and make everyone feel needed.

Update 5.0.02 is a huge step in this direction - And we will continue working on class adjustments even after the patch is in place. Our designers will carefully gather the statistics, and our support service will follow your feedback on the forums - So feel free to share your thoughts and discuss the changes!

All modified classes will receive Water of Life and Water of Death via in-game mail!

scout.png

Scout:

While Archers simply needed their damage to be made equal with that of other classes, melee based Scouts required more profound changes due to lack of defence and sustain, which made it difficult to face most enemies during toe to toe conflict.

To remedy this, we've decided to add two new directions for your character. You will now have a choice between being more of a Bully (via tanking - allowing you to explore Sarnaut more carefree), or a Bandit (via assassination - with silent movement and deadly surprise attacks).

Detailed info about modifications to the Scout can be found in the latest Patch Notes!

You can also check-out the updated Talent Calculator.

engineer.png

Engineer:

Engineer's suffered from low PvP survivability, with no available passive or active abilities available to remedy it (even temporarily).

Stationary mode and combat devices simply weren't effective enough - or, in other words, were plain useless - And we aim to change this.

Detailed info about modifications to the Engineer can be found in the latest Patch Notes!

bard.png

Bard:

The Bard, compared to other classes, was extremely imbalanced in terms of AoE damage and single target DPS.

Their control, anti-control, healing, and defensive spells (some of which are mere passives), are all subject to drastic changes.

Detailed info about modifications to the Bard can be found in the latest Patch Notes!

mage.png

Mage:

Their insufficient defence in PvP activities, as well as lacklustre damage dealt by Elemental Surge, are the core issues with the Mage class - hence both will be modified.

Detailed info about modifications to the Mage can be found in the latest Patch Notes!

paladin.png

Paladin:

We've singled out the most noticeable problems with the Paladin, such as mislocated Rubies, ineffective racial abilities, lack of group skills, and lack of cannon management.

Their overall DPS could also do with some improvement - and we believe that low attack speed with higher damage is more suitable to the Paladin than high attack speed with lower damage.

In addition - Tanks that used Holy spells were able to do so at a safe ranged distance without receiving any damage. They could combine nearly all survival rubies alongside offensive rubies within a single build, making them practically indestructible.

warrior.png

Warrior:

The tanking aspect of the Warrior will undergo some changes - for multiple reasons.

Vitality was blocking the gain of Determination, while also being useful only at the start of combat. In addition, Warriors ran the risk of being one-shot in PvE, unlike the Paladin class which can survive several mighty blows in a row.

Detailed info about modifications to the Warrior can be found in the latest Patch Notes!

summoner.png

Summoner:

Summoners had a wide range of problems.

Their damage wasn't high enough compared to other classes, and damage increase rates were too low thanks to lengthy cooldowns, and debuffs that lasted far too long. They also suffer from low survivability when being focus targeted.

Vampirics - a favourite of many - will return in full swing.

Detailed info about modifications to the Summoner can be found in the latest Patch Notes!

warden.png

Warden:

Wardens had already received some modifications, though there's room for more improvement.

They still combine powerful healing with high damage output, yet there's a huge disparity between ranged Wardens and melee Wardens, which were in a far worse position. There will be a few changes in store, including mana cost reductions for melee abilities.

Detailed info about modifications to the Warden can be found in the latest Patch Notes!
