Update 8.0.1 "Creation" Patch Notes

New / important

  • We have launched Equilibrium - the first Allods Online server with triple bonus on killing monsters. Until August 1, we invite you to participate in the server’s grand marathon, where you will also receive awesome prizes for leveling up your character: level 8 Runes, a riding Furnace, and many other valuables.
  • We are introducing a new storyline location - Dionic Archipelago. Here the heroes of the Empire and the League are welcomed to participate in a grand athletic competition - the Dionic Games. Note that in order to complete the Dionic Games - Honor Chase quest you need to have all the required medals in your bag. Used medals can exchanged for Dionic emblems, but those don’t count towards the quest counter.
  • Insignias now can be used freely to change stats on any equipment (including looted) even if the stats are not maximum. New items called Weaponsmith’s Insignias can be used to change your character’s weapon type.
  • A new type of equipment - artifact - will grant your character unique abilities and passive bonuses. For now, 3 artifacts will be available for all players, and the first of them will be automatically given to everyone who has collected at least two items of fabled quality, required to unlock the legendary bonuses, in the previous mini-season.
  • The rating calculation principle for your private Mazes has changed: now the Maze owner receives rating points for every attacker of their allod. If the plunder was unsuccessful, they score more points every killed attacker.
  • Now it is possible to create user Allods Online add-ons where your current Tenacity progress will be displayed for every control group.

General

  • Now you cannot create another Aoidos Incarnation once you have deleted an Incarnation of that race.
  • Now you can sell the starting equipment that you don’t need to vendors for 0 gold.

Guilds

  • All guild Rubies have been reset.
  • Added a new Ruby - Common Cause, which increases the amount of Prestige, earned by all guild members, by 5%. Each guild can learn up to 5 Rubies and receive a total bonus of 25%.
  • Increased the maximum guild level to 75.

Control Effects

  • Swiftness no longer reduces the cooldown duration of control abilities.
  • Reduced the impact of Willpower on Martyr's Protection by 50%.
  • Now, when using Martyr's Protection, your character receives temporary immunity to all types of control. Every 100 points of Willpower increase the duration of immunity by 1 second.
  • Increased the duration of Tenacity to 20 seconds, and the duration of immunity to all control effects granted by it - to 15 seconds.
  • Your Martyr’s blessing no longer gives you immunity to Icy Grave, Hypnosis, Debilitating Plague, Paralyzing Ray, Paralysis, Tornado and Lullaby effects. All other bonuses of the blessing remain the same.

Adventures

  • Participating in a raid adventure for the first time in a week will consume Astral keys.
  • Added a new adventure - The Observatory. Travel through space and time and contribute to the epic battles of the past! The adventure will become available in several week after the installation of update 8.0.1 Creation.
  • Order Prestige no longer can be earned in the Secret Paths adventure.
  • Raid Search: now your raid needs only one character in Aspect of Healing in order to start an adventure.
  • Raid Search: reduced bosses’ health in this mode.
  • Changed the raid interface: now only the party leader can manage it distantly (like the party interface).

Skirmishes

  • Random skirmishes now can be joined by a pre-assembled party of 1-3 players.
  • Dominion (all modes): now battle terminates when all participants of one of the teams leave it. In that case, the remaining team wins and receives the rewards that they would receive in case of a victory with the highest score.
  • Misty Glade arena is no longer available for practice.
  • Reduced the damage of all mounts’ abilities in skirmishes for less experienced players (level 69 or lower).
  • Rating Combats 3x3: while a player’s rating is below 500, they will lose 25% less rating in case of defeat.
  • Rating Combats 3x3 and 6x6: in case of victory, your character’s rating won’t increase if it exceeded your team member’s rating by 500 or more. However, the latter character’s rating will increase.

Orders

  • Now the Trial of Blood has two arenas which will switch every 14 days. The trial will become available on May 29th.
  • Increased the amount of potions, received from the quartermaster by Order members from the Top-100, Top-10, and #1 player in the Prestige leaderboards, to 25, 100, and 200, respectively.
  • Increased the amount of Replicators, received from the quartermaster by the top 10 players in the Trial of Blood leaderboards, to 3.
  • Increased the amount of resources (Amalgam, etc.), received from the quartermaster by the top player of the Trial of Blood leaderboards, to 30.
  • Increased the amount of potions, received by Warriors from the Order quartermaster, to 15.
  • The Follower title now requires 12,500 Prestige.
  • The Combatant title now requires 50,000 Prestige.
  • Increased the amount of Signs of Victory, granted daily for completing the Trial of Blood, by 100%.
  • Reduced the amount of Symbol of Glory, granted by the quartermasters, by 50%.
  • Reduced the amount of food, received by Followers and Warriors from the Order quartermaster, to 10 and 25, respectively.
  • Reduced the amount of Replicators, received by Warriors from the Order quartermaster, to 1.
  • Amalgam is no longer given as a daily reward for completing the Trial of Blood.
  • Fixed the description of Purifying Decoction.

World

  • Added Dionic Archipelago.
  • Installed the Interserver Dominion winner’s statue in the Astral Academy.

Boutique

  • Fixed the descriptions of items from the newest Strongbox of the Shipwright.
  • Cannon - Adaptive Magitech Cannon.

Astral

  • Now low-level characters cannot purchase Boxes with Loot from vendors.
  • Bosses on Astral allods no longer drop gold.
  • Now you have equal chances to teleport to any Astral allod.
  • Added allods: Peaceful Cemetery and White Mountain.
  • Killing bosses in the Purple, Amber, and Forsaken layers will consume 1 Astral Key for each.
  • Killing bosses on all Astral allods is now additionally rewarded with Order Prestige (only applies to Astral Allods within sectors of an even number, eg. Sector 8, 10 etc.).
  • Killing bosses on all Astral allods is now additionally rewarded with a special currency - Sovereigns. For Sovereigns, you can buy large boxes with equipment, food, and special titles. Players of the subscription server can also exchange Sovereigns for Replicators (only applies to Astral Allods within sectors of an even number, eg. Sector 8, 10 etc.).
  • New Bay: fixed the bug where battle doesn’t end after Muck’s death.
  • Demon Hunters' Sanctuary: reduced the damage of wandering blizzards.
  • The Mortal Debt effect is now removed when you exit battle on Astral allods.
  • Cooldown duration of Gift of Tensess is now 1 second when out of combat (previously - 60 seconds).

Classes

General

  • Auto-attack now depends on the abilities’ overall cooldown.
  • Now Aspects can be activated while in combat (if none of them were active).
  • Positive effects Acceleration, Bloodthirst, Defense, Invigorating Surge, Treachery, Valiance, Power, and Courage now can’t be dispelled.
  • The Courage effect now reduces the duration of all applied control effects by 25% (previously, by 50%).
  • Negative effects Cowardice, Helplessness, Sluggishness, Vulnerability, Weakness, and Wounds now can’t be dispelled.
  • Weakness reduces target's damage dealt by 20% (previously, by 35%).
  • Divine Foresight, received from a Healer Incarnation, no longer protects from lethal damage.

Bard

  • Crushing Throw and Romance no longer depend on Bard’s Swiftness.
  • Heroic Ode now increases the duration of offensive rhythms by 10%/20%/30% (previously, by 5%/10%/15%) for every 100 points of Critical Damage.
  • Skald Song now increases the duration of offensive rhythms by 2%/4%/6% (previously, by 1.7%/3.3%/5%) for every 100 points of Critical Damage.
  • Fury of Shadows now increases the duration of offensive rhythms by 2%/4%/6% (previously, by 1.7%/3.3%/5%) for every 100 points of Critical Damage.
  • Hymn of Freedom now increases the duration of offensive rhythms by 2%/4%/6% (previously, by 1.7%/3.3%/5%) for every 100 points of Critical Damage.
  • Cooldown duration of Sonata is now 100/80/60 seconds and does not depend on Bard’s Swiftness.
  • Maestro now increases damage by 8%/16%/24%/32% (previously, by 6%/12%/18%/24%).

Warrior

  • Kick, Harpoon, Headbutt, Challenge, and Provocation no longer depend on Warrior’s Swiftness.
  • Using Fracture now consumes 40 energy (previously, 45).
  • Hack now ignores the overall cooldown.
  • The cooldown duration of Hack is now 20/15/8 seconds (previously, 30/20/15 seconds).
  • Kick now doesn’t consume energy but instead consumes 15 Combat Advantage.
  • Changed the Merciful Death talent. Now the increased chance of critical damage does not depend on the Bleeding effect on the target.
  • Onslaught knocks down the target, but does not stun it.
  • Reduced the range of Vicious Spin to 8 yards.
  • Reduced the range of Tramp to 10 yards.
  • Reduced the cooldown duration of Berserker to 5/4/3 minutes.
  • Berserker lasts 2 seconds longer.
  • Berserker now increases damage dealt by 30% and Bloodlust by 500.
  • Mighty Leap no longer throws enemies into the air. During the Leap, Warrior is immune to control effects.

Healer

  • Avenging Strike, Dazzling and Heavenly Smite no longer depend on Healer’s Swiftness.
  • Guarding Word does not depend on Double Attack and always inflicts damage only once.
  • Divine Foresight now can affect the same character no more than once per 40 seconds.

Psionicist

  • Mental Pulse, Spectral Assassin, Horror, and Psionicist's Mental Link no longer depend on Pscionicist’s Swiftness.
  • Entropy now always inflicts damage over time and disorients.
  • Reduced the duration of disorientation from Entropy.
  • Desperation now always disorients the target.
  • Materialization now always disorients the target.
  • Ambush now always applies the Fear effect.
  • Implosion now always applies the Fear effect.

Summoner

  • Added a new talent which allows using Step through the Shadows. The ability teleports Summoner to a friendly or a hostile target and restores blood bank by 6 drops. All enemies around the target receive the Vulnerability effect for 4 seconds, and all allies - the Bloodthirst effect. Step through the Shadows does not depend on the overall cooldown. Can be used only on targets within Summoner’s vision range.
  • Frightful Presence does not depend on Summoner’s Swiftness.
  • Added new talent Path of Life and Death which allows using all healing abilities while moving. Casting them increases Summoner’s speed by 25%.
  • Blood Aegis now consumes 2 drops of blood (previously, 4) and does not depend on the overall cooldown.
  • Healer's Motto now reduces incoming damage by 10/20/30% (previously, by 5%/10%/15%).

Mage

  • Trial by Fire and Stun no longer depend on Mage’s Swiftness.
  • Damage from Cataclysm is increased by 25%.
  • Reduced the cooldown duration of Cataclysm to 4 minutes.
  • Changed the icon for Stun.
  • The duration of Flash Lightning is now 6 seconds.

Scout

  • Caltrops, Crippling Shot, Provocation, Cobra Dash, Recoil, Provocative Shot, and Hunter's Trap no longer depend on Scout’s Swiftness.
  • The cooldown duration of Caltrops is now 140/100/60 seconds (previously, 180/120/80 seconds).
  • Using Hunter's Trap no longer consumes gear.
  • Increased the duration of Hunter's Trap to 120 seconds.

Engineer

  • Medical Emergency, Spider Suppressor, Power Field, Shocker, Wormhole, Steel Trap, and Flying Factions no longer depend on Engineer’s Swiftness.
  • Increased the basic damage of Reactor Blowdown by 15%.
  • Reduced the basic damage of Burst of Mana by 33%. Reduced the cooldown duration of the ability to 5 seconds (previously, 10 seconds).
  • Doped Steel now increases Physical damage by 5/10/15% (previously, by 6/12/18%).
  • Reduced the bonus damage of Burst of Mana from Heavy Isotopes by 33%.
  • Destruction Principle now increases the damage over time inflicted by devices and effects by 10/20/30% (previously, by 13/26/39%).
  • Progressive Defense no longer reduces Engineer’s incoming damage.
  • Bonus to the damage of Particle Acceleration now equals 1.25%/2.5% per degree (previously, 1%/2%). Now this bonus can only be used in Aspect of Assault.
  • Reduced the range of Air Support from 15 to 8 yards.
  • Reduced the range of Self-Destruction from 15 to 8 yards.

Paladin

Abilities

  • The cooldown duration of Rage of Light is now 18 seconds on all levels. The basic damage has been reduced by 24%, and the range has been reduced to 8 yards (instead of 15).
  • The cooldown duration of Seal of Righteousness and Seal of Inerrability is now 9 seconds regardless of the equipped weapon. The damage of the abilities no longer depends on consumed Canons of Purity; instead, casting them grants one Canon of Purity. Increased the basic damage of the ability by 35%.
  • Retribution and Entangling Chains no longer have cooldown. Casting them now grants 1 Canons of Light. Entangling Chains has been renamed to Revenge. The basic damage has been reduced by 26% for Retribution, and by 23% - for Revenge.
  • Increased the basic damage over time of Condemnation by 14%. Now the damage is inflicted every second (previously, every 2 seconds).
  • The cooldown duration of Incineration is now 24 seconds regardless of the equipped weapon. The basic damage over time has been reduced by 16%; the basic duration of the effect is now 3 seconds (instead of 4).
  • Holy Ground is no longer cast independently of the overall cooldown. The ability basic damage has been increased by 38%. Casting it now costs 2 Canons of Light and 2 Canons of Purity. The cooldown duration is now 40 seconds for all levels.
  • Hallmark and Seal of Flame now inflict Physical damage. The basic damage has been increased by 285%. The cooldown duration is now 18 seconds regardless of the equipped weapon. Seal of Flame has been renamed to Entangling Chains.
  • Pledge of Purity and Holy Pledge now share cooldown - 50/40/30 depending on the level.
  • Now when using Strike of Justice against another Paladin, the caster receives the Vanguard effect for 6 seconds which reduces all their incoming damage by 50%. The effect cannot be dispelled.
  • The cooldown duration of Heavy Shackles now does not depend on Swiftness. Fixed the bug where by the end of the effect some creatures are teleported to the spot where they received the Heavy Shackles effect.
  • The cooldown duration of Blinding Blow now does not depend on Swiftness.

Rubies

  • Paladin’s talents are now placed differently.
  • The cooldown duration of Challenge is now 20 seconds and does not depend on Swiftness.
  • The cooldown duration of Massive Challenge is now 60 seconds and does not depend on Swiftness.
  • Shieldbearer is now only available in Aspect of Defense.
  • Changed the Stonewall talent - the maximum damage stored in the barrier now increases by 25/50% (instead of 15/30%).
  • Guarding Light is now only available in Aspect of Defense and it reduces all incoming damage by 15/30/45% (instead of 10/20/30%).
  • Home Soil is now only available in Aspect of Defense and it reduces all incoming damage by 10/20% (instead of 5/10%).
  • Renamed Vanguard to Reinforced Vanguard. Now it is only available in Aspect of Defense and allows Paladin to receive the Vanguard effect by casting Strike of Justice on any target for 6/9 seconds regardless of the talent level.
  • Deadly Insult now does not require Aspect of Defense and applies the Cowardice (previously, Vulnerability) effect to the target. The talent has been renamed to Deadly Threat.
  • Roaring Howl now does not require Aspect of Defense.
  • Burning Radiance is now only available in Aspect of Defense.
  • Changed the Pounce talent. Now Strike of Justice immobilizes the target for 2 seconds if the distance to the target was more than 10 yards.
  • The effect of Tough Armor now additionally heals Paladin by 10% of their lost health every second. Now it reduces incoming damage by 75% regardless of Overcome’s level. The effect cannot be dispelled. The cooldown duration now increases by 500% (instead of 300%).
  • Changed the Law and Order talent - now casting Retribution and Revenge increases the duration of Condemnation by 1 second instead of reducing it by 3 seconds. Removed the additional damage from Condemnation cast on a target already affected by it.
  • Inquisitor's Hallmark is now only available in Aspect of Assault. It no longer changes the damage type of Hallmark and Entangling Chains. With a 33/66/100% chance, Incineration, Retribution, and Revenge apply the Executioner’s Right effect to Paladin. The effect stacks up to 4 times. Each stack of the effect increases the damage from Hallmark and Entangling Chains by 25%. All effect stacks are absorbed afterwards.
  • The Finishing Strike effect, applied by various talents, has been renamed to Ardent Blade. Each stack of this effect now increases the damage of Incineration by 15% and is no longer absorbed by Retribution and Revenge.
  • First Blood now grants Paladin 5/10 stacks of the Ardent Blade effect at the start of battle (instead of 2/4) and works every 2 seconds (instead of 3) if the character is inactive. The damage over time is inflicted every 1.5 seconds (instead of 3).
  • The Ex Voto effect, applied by Triumph of Light and Pure Thoughts, does not stack and increases damage dealt by 25% for 12 seconds.
  • Holy Rage is now a passive talent, activated by Rage of Light. Now it increases all damage dealt by 12% for 4 seconds.
  • Flushed with Fury now increases the duration of Holy Rage by 1/2 seconds.
  • Vindication has been renamed to Sweeping Justice. Now it additionally increases the damage of Holy Rage by 5/10/15% (instead of 4/8/12%).
  • Changed the Commitment to Fire talent - now when Incineration or Condemnation fade with time, the target receives significant Holy damage. This talent also works when Condemnation is applied with Interdiction.
  • Interdiction now does not apply the Condemnation effect if the Condemnation ability has not been learned.
  • Sun Heat now increases the damage of Rage of Light by 15/30/45% (instead of 12/24/36%).
  • Light Crown now increases the damage of Holy Ground by 33/66/100% (instead of 5/10/15%).
  • Reduced the range of Heat Lightning to 8 yards (instead of 15).
  • Focused Light now increases Holy damage by 4/8/12/16/20% (instead of 10/16/20/23/25%).
  • Blessed Steel now increases Physical damage by 6/12/18/24/30% (instead of 10/16/20/23/25%). It also increases the range of melee attacks by 2 yards on the maximum level (instead of 2.5).

Warden

  • Holy Wrath does not depend on Warden’s Swiftness.
  • Now enemies can dispel Renew and Rejuvenation effects.
  • Now the cast time of Sprout of Life is 1.5 seconds and the cooldown duration is 10 seconds.
  • Warden is no longer affected by Helplessness after Tree Barrier is dispelled.
  • Hall of Changes: all Wardens now can choose from pet appearances of all races and genders (including pets of the opposite faction).

Known Issues

The description of Small Pack of Universal Tools indicates an incorrect number of items in the pack (the correct amount is 10).
