5 min on Arena of death

Since recently it became more and more frequent ppl are starting (me including :cursing: ) to be annoyed by that. And Im talking here about leaving AOD by members of team after few minutes of fight.

Therefore, I would like to suggest to give those leaving leeches some sort of debuff which would prevent them from entering AOD, lets say for a week or two. It might teach them, that AOD is a team play and by leaving the arena they are designating their team to loose the battle as well as taking the fun of pvp'ing and playing the game.

Other solution would be more balanced teams - not like now, that in each groups we have equal opponents (bcz the one good geared player among low geared ones can fight with several at the same time and not die while in meantime, his group members collect chests) but more like gear score limits which would prevent singlehanded wins on AOD.

I would appreciate implementing any of these or others solutions which would bring back the fun of pvp on the AOD. If not (so that u know) i intend to sign in on each of the AOD with my reinc every day and leave after 5 min of fight (which doesn't violate any of the rules), so that others can feel how it is to loose one battle after another all the time. Maybe the amount of tickets send to support will force the devs to take some action.

Our AoD is broken. It's supposed to end 3 minutes after one of the team becomes <11 people, but it doesn't.

While I quit when my team is below 8 people, I just have to say that being annihilated is not fun. AoD is far too long a skirmish to expect 24 people to sit there and just take it for no reward whatsoever.

Make AoD to be only once per day per account. That way, people who queue on reincs and quit early if it's not free amals knowing they have 3 more shots this day alone won't do this, and know that the one AoD they do is the only AoD that they will do this day. It will make AoD much more valuable skirmish.

Prohibiting entering with reinc on AOD isn't the solution. I myself am gearing up reinc, and need that amalgam too. It doesn't mean I will leave AOD just bcz. I'm on reincarnation. Long time penalty for leaving seems more appropriate punishment - ppl will have to think twice before signing in.

how about a group buff for the remaining players if someone quits?

so they get stronger for each one that leave, then maybe even a 10 vs 24 could be possible to win for the 10 ppl :)

this wont punish the leechers or leavers, but give the remaining players a chance to earn their amalgan.

In 5.0.02, there will be a vote whether to continue or not, if the majority decided to continue, players leaving the aod will receive a debuff interdiction to tag AoD for one week (sorry google trad :x)

The most likely outcome if they did that is that *more* people would leave, because "It won't matter because there's the buff." No, you need a penalty that applies to leavers, like the one-week ban from AoD mentioned by Klarisse.

I'm on an extended break from Allods at the moment, but I'm lurking here to keep up with what's happening. From the looks of things in 5.0.02, I'm better off where I am.

My thoughts exactly.
I'm looking forward to the voting in AOD.
So that you know I will be always for continuing the fight so think 3 times before leaving AOD when I'm on your team :D

I'm not an AoD player but I've a doubt: the voting system it's very smart and democratic BUT..what about the ppl who don't leave to avoid the debuff but then go afk because "I don't want to play but I don't want one-week-long debuff?"
There will be also an "afkers-kick" as well?

if not, the end of the story is the same: x player don't play, leaving all the other to spit blood on the battleground :/

raid formation is ridiculous now, having 2-3 with 26k+ and rest 20-22 k is crap, or no healers, they really need a thing that makes the teams even... aka wth to do with some that die in 1 hit *rage mode on*... or when they die and you tell em to wait until everyone is up and they dont understand english at all, funny right :))!?

once per day per account is not a cool idea, some of us have decent geared reinc and we gear em too( i use my keys on main in 2 days so got pretty much time to gear reincs ) , i agree that those with under 20k gearscore than join are annoying as hell and useless
